101 metres (361 feet) under the ground, is the world’s biggest underground chapel. It is used for mass each Sunday when the public can enter the mine without charge, travel in the lift down to the chapel level to attend the mass then go back to the surface in the lift.
The mass is at 7.30 each Sunday morning so I doubt it is oversubscribed
