The women were billeted in the huts in three levels each of the cubicles was the sleeping space for seven women. It had a floor area around 1.5m x 1.5m the top layer suffered a gap between the roof and the top of the walls that allowed the weather to make that area very unpleasant. the lowest area had no ventilation and the persons above suffered from starvation induced diarrhoa, a place where newcomers were forced to stay.
